Aug 18 Waterfowler Expo
https://2img.net/r/ihimizer/img471/1769/callingposterscangl9.jpgThis weekend; Saturday August 18 the Stoney Creek Chapter of DU Canada presents their Waterfowlers Expo and Calling Classic at the Niagara Fruit Education Centre in Winona (Stoney Creek). FREE parking, FREE admission, FREE seminars. Lunch and refreshments available on site.
Registration for the calling contests starts at 8:00 am. Junior goose is at 9, junior duck goes at 10:00 am, two man open goose at 11:00, senior duck at 1:00 pm and senior goose at 2:30 pm. The finals for the senior duck and goose will be held at 7:30 pm during the DUX banquet.
The seminar schedule starts at 11:30 am and runs through until 2:30 pm with seminars on meat calling ducks, team calling geese and how to get permission to hunt and keep it.
There is a retriever demonstration for all to watch, new equipment on display from boats, atvs to cargo trailers, the latest in decoys and calls, dog training accessories, deals on shells and hunting equipment. Get your duck/goose call retuned by the pros. Raffles for shotguns and wildlife art.
Unlike other shows where it’s strictly an exhibition of new products we invite you to bring your wallet and purchase the newest and latest gadgets for waterfowlers. St. Lawrence Outfitters will have a great selection of the newest decoys and gear for duck and goose hunters.
Doors open to the DUX event at 4:00 pm. (This is a licensed event.) Raffles for guns, hunting trips, calls, decoys, waterfowling accessories, DU limited edition sporting art and sculptures. (Remember - at the DUX banquet there is NO TAX on items purchased in the live or silent auctions...NO TAX) DU Roulette wheel for boxes of decoys, blinds, carvings etc. BIG Sportsmen's raffle.
