Not only the birds got shot

Today we went out hunting got all set up, had a flock of six cacklers come in killed them all....nothing out of the ordinary then the real fun started.......saw a farmers pickup (was not his land, he is actually my cousin) come around the corner of this trail we were set up beside....not a big deal so we're watching him and all of a sudden he stops so i sit up and my dad cause we obviously know who it is and the other guys were out of staters we were hunting with...out of no where we hear a boom,,,and being a hunter i could tell the first shot was very very close to me from the wizz of the bullet and the percussion so i started getting down when boom.....a bullet hit me in the arm....dad proceded to sit up and shoot his shotgun to let him know that we were humans and as you can see in the pics its basically just a flesh wound but wow what a close call and how stupid of the farmer to do that........he doesnt hunt geese, doesnt eat geese, just wanted to shoot something....luckily it was just a 17rimfire...went to the doc got er cleaned up and got back to the field to finish the limit
